Our Studio FAQs
What is the free session all about?
It’s exactly what it sounds like. Making a “low barrier offer” (heavily discounted) to attract customers may be good marketing, but we refuse to take that route. Therefore, we treat you as though you’re already a client, train you to your abilities and then send you on your way. No one likes pressured sales or being put in that “awkward sign on the line position.” That said, we don’t believe in contracts Anyway. If we’re not a good fit for you, then all you’ve lost is about forty-five minutes of time (at least you’ll get a good workout).
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we don’t believe in contracts at Paradigm. We want you to continue using our service because you’re happy with the results, enjoy the sessions and feel better about being fit. Not because you’ve been strong armed into a contract to keep paying.
Why do you only offer 30 minute sessions?
For two reasons:
Hour sessions become low intensity talk sessions.
We can accomplish a very intense and productive workout in 30 minutes.
We tell clients to budget 50 minutes in the studio. Ten to warm up, thirty minutes with the trainer and ten minutes for intervals or stretching. We do tend to give new clients more time in their sessions initially until they’re well enough conditioned the faster paced workout.
What do you mean by 'all nutrition work is included'?
All clients who choose to can work directly with me (Glynn) to develop a consistently changing meal plan that suits their tastes, goals and schedule. What you eat is such a big part of being successful with us, we think it should just be included for everyone.
Do you have any hidden fees?
No way, nada, absolutely not! I’m not a fan of a business constantly charging strange fees that were not disclosed up front. We like to keep things simple at Paradigm… you only pay for the training, period.
What are the Rates?
Our rates are simply $40/session regardless of the number of sessions done per week. We agree up front as to the most convenient method of payment. We also determine the least expensive path to follow to reach your goals.
Do you offer small group training?
Yes, but the classes are limited. If you are part of a group of friends who would like to train together, we will do our best to accommodate a class time for you when the studio is not too busy.
Do you offer couples training?
Yes, in fact we encourage small groups of two. It makes it more fun, more affordable and adds a new level of healthy competition and support.
Do I always work with the same trainer?
If you choose to, yes. It’s up to you.
What are your hours?
There are no set hours. Whatever time suits you and your trainer, regardless of the time of day is when you train.
Do you sell nutritional products/supplements?
No, but we will always help our clients find the best bang for the buck for whatever they’re looking to find.
How often do people train with their trainer?
Since every clients needs are different, it ranges from one to four times a week. Considering the fitness level and goal, we try to establish a schedule that’s the “best bang for the buck” for the individual.
What’s the best way to contact Paradigm Fitness?
Texting and email is the best way to initially contact us since we avoid the phone when we’re working with clients.
